About Discover Your Personality

This web site is run by Brian Jones, pictured here. The idea came from years of working with people as a trainer, supervisor, and manager. As a result of my experiences with individuals and organizations, I began to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® instrument and other assessment tools to get a better understanding of what people really think and feel. I've found that these tools, along with a good dose of concentrated listening, can bring great results. In the meantime, I've assessed over 10,000 people and counting. Clients have included Merck, IBM, Clorox, Bank of America, Pepsi International, and many others. Click here to see the client list.

My work experience includes 18 years overseas in Germany and Japan. I've worked in military property management as a civil servant, in the financial services, and information technology industries. My training background includes training over 2,400 people in the United States, Europe, and Asia in a variety of business topics, including team building, management, and supervision, and a year as an ESL teacher.

Visit my training web site at http://www.TeamTrainingSolutions.com.

I'm a certified Myers-Briggs® Practitioner and qualified Strong® Administrator. I received my B.A. from Cornell University, and my Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University.

I have another site dedicated to agathism, which is the doctrine that things tend towards the ultimate good, as opposed to optimism, which means things are now the best they can be. Check out the personal stories of people who have lived agathism. The site is at http://www.agathism.com.

In my free time I enjoy swimming & running, walking along the beach with my wife, playing rock guitar, and reading. Memory is another field I'm interested in. For fun, I memorized the first 1,150 digits of Pi in 2001. There's actually a club for those who have memorized at least 1,000 digits of Pi. Click here to see the 1,000 Club web site

A few times a year, I get together to play music with my old high school band buddies. We have put up a web site about what we're doing. You can see it here: http://www.crystallegend.net

I am a member of the San Diego chapter of Mensa. Their web site is here: http://www.sandiego.us.mensa.org/email.html
